Project Description

3 days stay

Welcome to the ever-growing metropolis of Oslo. In only a handful of capitals around Europe is it possible to experience this unique blend between nature and urban living. With its location at the Oslo fjord, its mountainous landscape and boasting rich cultural and leisure activities, Oslo is always a prime destination. The splendid nature, the high standard of living and the relaxed nature of the Norwegians should enough to convince anyone.

Day 1: Arrival in Oslo
Arrival in Oslo, transfer from the airport to the hotel. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 2: Stay in Oslo
After breakfast the day starts with a 5 hour city tour where you will experience the royal castle, the Vigeland sculpture park, the new opera house and the city hall. The city hall in Oslo is the site of the annual Nobel Peace Prize awards. The museum island of Bygdøy is also a stop on our tour. Here we will pay visits to the Fram Museum and the Norwegian Museum of cultural history. Finally we ascend the Holmenkollen to enjoy the magnificent view from arguably the most famous ski jumping site in the world. The rest of the day is free to be spent at your own pace. A recommended spot is the rapidly expanding area at Aker Brygge right next to the fjord.

Day 3: Departure
Transfer to the airport and departure back home. On request the stay can be extended. The additional day(s) can e.g. be spent getting to know the city even better – in good weather a boating trip on the fjord is a splendid way to see Oslo from a different point of view.
