6 DAY ROUNDTRIP
The fjords are an incredible part of Norway’s coastline. Formed by ancient, slow moving glaciers carving into rock as they moved towards the sea, fjords are very steep, long valleys and have become synonymous with Norway. Explore the coastline, from the heights of mountains to the depths of the fjords, from Trondheim, residential town of both viking kings and archbishops, to the vibrant former Hanseatic town Bergen and discover the inlands of Norway by train in combination with Hurtigruten’s cruises. The history of Hurtigruten goes back 125 years where inland roads in the north were non existent, so a safe trade route was essential to link the southern and northern regions of Norway.
